Windows 10 Anniversary Update - 05 August 2016
It has come to our attention that there is an issue with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update and its compatibility with Avast! Endpoint Protection products in which running the update removes the Avast! Endpoint Protection client.
The following products are confirmed to affect wide number of installations:
Avast! Endpoint Protection
Avast! Endpoint Protection Plus
Avast! Endpoint Protection Suite
Avast! Endpoint Protection Suite Plus
Avast! are aware of the issue and their recommendation is to postpone the Anniversary Update until the issue is fixed. Avast are currently in communication with Microsoft and the program will be added to the white list, however the process may take up to a week. If you updated already, Avast! recommends running the Avast! Uninstall Utility and reinstall the client. Alternatively, consider rolling back the Windows 10 Update.
